Inspired by the style of noir films, I really wanted to take the grittiness and atmosphere of a noir setting. To emphasize the time period setting, all of these were taken and developed on black and white film with a focus on the relationship between dark and light spaces similar to the inspiration. This set tells the story of the detective, he is in the downward slump of his business. Desperate for a case, he took on to solve a murder case. Each photo follows a step of his invention rabbit hole.
